The Role We're on the lookout for a passionate and creative Sous Chef . If you live and breathe food, thrive on showcasing Tasmania's incredible produce, and love creating dishes that people talk about long after they leave — we want to hear from you What You'll Be Doing Leading and managing kitchen operations with a focus on quality and consistency. Developing creative, produce-driven menus inspired by the seasons. Training, mentoring, and motivating kitchen staff in a positive environment. Working closely with the FOH team. Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and efficiency. Building strong relationships with Tassie's best local suppliers and producers. About You Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a quality venue. Minimum 2-3 years of Sous Chef experience is required. Passionate about local, seasonal produce and sustainability. Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Driven, creative, and eager to make your mark on Launceston's food scene.
