Overview An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and customer focused individual to join the team at Warragul Country Club as Bar Supervisor on a full-time ongoing basis. About the Club Founded in 1907, the Warragul Country Club has been at the heart of our local community for more than a century and is one of Regional Victoria’s leading community Sporting Clubs. We have a rich golfing history and enjoy a unique brand as a premier golf, hospitality, and entertainment venue offering sporting and social facilities to the Warragul community and surrounding areas. About the role As Bar Supervisor, you will work closely with the Bar Manager to support the daily operations of the Sports Bar and TAB. You’ll play a key role in motivating the team, maintaining service standards, and delivering exceptional hospitality to our members and guests. Supporting the Bar Manager by supervising bar staff, allocating tasks, and promoting a high-performing, team-orientated work culture. Maintaining a strong floor presence during peak times to oversee service, support the team, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Assisting with stocktakes. Ensuring bar equipment is well maintained and in good working order. Supporting and coordinating bar promotions, contributing creative ideas and initiatives that increase revenue and enhance customer engagement. Consistently deliver the exceptional service and hospitality our Club is known for. About you You are a customer-focused hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example. To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively. A hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively during busy service periods. Sound knowledge of bar operations, including stock control and equipment maintenance. Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
