Council of the City of Sydney, Österreich Amicus QLD Constructing Pty Vollzeit

Do you have 2+ years’ experience in Fitout or Commercial Construction? Do you love the pace and problem-solving of fit-out projects, and being the client’s go-to from start to finish? If that sounds like you, we might be a great fit for each other. At Amicus, we design and deliver inspiring workspaces across Australia. We’re a people‑first business that values teamwork, accountability and positivity — and we’re looking for someone who shares those values to join our Sydney Delivery Team. Whether you see this as a development role or your long‑term career path, you’ll have the opportunity to grow alongside supportive managers in a company that genuinely invests in its people. We offer a 9‑day fortnight, true flexibility (2 days in the office, the rest from anywhere), and a high‑trust, high‑performance culture built over 20 years of successful project delivery. About the Role You’ll be joining a close‑knit Sydney Delivery team of two other Contract Administrators, working on diverse commercial fitout projects. Your day‑to‑day will include: Contract Management – interpret construction contracts, manage documentation, monitor risks, and ensure compliance with legislation. Contract Administration – Utilising Amicus Construction Management Platform, administrating projects through letting contracts, raising PO’s, Variations, processing progress claims, forecasting project‑specific AR/AP cashflows etc. Project Support – partner with your Project Manager to plan, schedule, track progress, manage budgets, HSEQ set‑up and resolve issues proactively. Stakeholder Communication – keep clients, consultants and trades informed through clear, timely updates and documentation. Commercial Savvy – identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring we maximise project value. Approvals & Certification – coordinate CDC, DC, CC and OC processes on behalf of clients within tight timeframes. Tendering & Scoping – prepare trade packages, assess quotes, and assist with contractor selection across all trades, including reading drawings and services documentation. What You’ll Bring 2+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator in commercial or fitout projects Solid understanding of construction contracts and project processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related project tools Ideally, a Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Building and Construction, Construction Management, or a related field Why You’ll Love Working Here 9‑day fortnight – enjoy regular long weekends Flexible work – 2 days in the office, the rest from anywhere Performance over hours – we focus on outcomes, not face time Growth & stability – we’ve been helping people build lasting careers since 2005 Supportive culture – managers who mentor, not micromanage What Might Not Be for You Our projects move fast, and you’ll likely juggle multiple at once. No two projects are alike — creative problem‑solving is part of every day. We value feedback and growth, so you’ll receive both regularly (with kindness and clarity). Our recruitment process is thorough — we take the time to get it right for both sides. Sounds like your sort of workplace? Apply now and let’s explore whether we’re the right fit for each other.
