Overview of Position At Broadcom, we are looking for an Account Director to drive revenue and growth for existing Enterprise customers in the Broadcom Software portfolio, including VMware, CA Technologies, and Symantec. This is a quota‑carrying position located in Broadcom’s office in Sydney, and Account Directors are expected to be in the office every day. Responsibilities Employ strong interpersonal and communication skills to identify, qualify, and win sales opportunities. Manage a pipeline of active deals to ensure long‑term book‑of‑business sustainability. Create and achieve long‑term and short‑term account‑based revenue objectives, such as Annual Business Plan and Quarterly Territory Plan. Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior‑level decision makers in your assigned accounts. Effectively communicate Broadcom’s ability to address customers’ Enterprise Software needs and overall IT business objectives. Demonstrate proficiency in proposal creation, negotiation, and closing. Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered. 8+ years of customer‑facing B2B experience, or equivalent education. Prior experience meeting or exceeding sales quota. Strong understanding of a value‑based sales approach. Significant experience managing a pipeline of active deals. Additional Qualifications Prior startup experience. Strong background in B2B software solutions. VMware certification.
