We are a medium-sized transport company which operates general freight services to the Northwest. We are currently looking for an experienced forklift loader / operator to work at our Perth Depot located in Maddington. Duties include but are not limited to receiving / loading / unloading general freight. This is a casual position with full time hours. There will be an opportunity for permanent full-time employment after successful completion of probation. MON – FRIDAY POSITION. NO WEEKEND WORK To be considered for this role, applicants must have: Experience operating a forklift within a similar field with exposure to loading / unloading all types of freight. Proven experience planning / loading trailers without supervision. Compliant with all aspects of the Chain of Responsibility. The role involves some manual work, and applicants will require a moderate level of fitness. Ensuring all freight has been correctly labelled and corresponding paperwork has been completed to minimise mistakes and potential freight disruptions. Commitment to workplace safety. Must be able to pass drug / alcohol screening. Any other tasks as requested by Management. HC Licence would be advantageous. Only people with full working rights need to apply.
