Our partner, Xelon Technologies, is seeking a hands-on Operations Coordinator to support our General Manager and operational teams in delivering outstanding project performance across the business. About Us XT Electrical is a leading electrical and communications contractor delivering new builds, major refurbishments, commercial fit-outs, and large-scale infrastructure projects. We partner with commercial builders, government, aged care providers, and commercial property owners to deliver high-quality, complex projects. We're now seeking an Operations Coordinator to support end-to-end project delivery within our electrical contracting division, based at our Tingalpa office. About the Role As our Operations Coordinator, you'll provide reliable operational and commercial support across Xelon Technologies—ensuring accurate data, strong process compliance, and smooth day‑to‑day coordination for the General Manager and project teams. You'll work closely with both onshore and offshore teams to keep projects, people, and systems moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate data across simPRO and operational systems (timesheets, POs, RFQs, quotes, invoicing, variations). Assist with payment claims, variations, cost tracking, forecasting, and project reporting. Ensure compliance with Xelon Group policies, processes, ISO / IMS standards, and WHS / environmental documentation. Prepare and coordinate project documentation for PMs and site teams; track KPIs and business plan actions. Monitor commercial risks (scope changes, GP erosion, cost blowouts, subcontractor gaps) and escrow issues as needed. Support contract checks, insurance documentation, credit checks, and commercial queries. Produce timely reporting, including forecasting, operational performance, KPIs, and stakeholder updates. About You You're a commercially minded, detail‑driven operator who thrives in fast‑paced project environments. You communicate confidently, stay organised under pressure, and bring a strong understanding of operational and commercial processes. 3+ years' experience in construction, technical services, or related industries Confident using simPRO or similar systems (job setup, costing, scheduling, reporting) Skilled in invoicing, purchase orders, reporting and vendor management Solid understanding of construction / commercial contracts Strong commercial acumen and problem‑solving ability Clear, confident communicator who can influence outcomes High attention to detail with excellent time‑management and prioritisation Proficient across MS Office and operational systems The Offer You will be a key member of an innovative and dynamic organisation that offers a wide variety of projects and the opportunity to have an impact in a growing business.
