Talent Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia Manager Technical Delivery One of our Federal client is seeking two highly skilled and self-driven Technical Delivery Managers to lead multiple technical streams within GovAI , a flagship Whole of Australian Government program designed to accelerate safe and responsible adoption of AI across the APS. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of AI capability across government and deliver high-impact national digital services. What You’ll Be Doing Shape the technical direction of AI-related initiatives across the GovAI Program Lead, manage and coordinate technical delivery across multiple parallel projects Translate policies and guidelines into secure, reliable and responsible technology solutions Work closely with non-technical stakeholders to clarify value propositions and requirements Provide expert advice on integrating emerging technologies (AI, cloud, automation) Manage risks, dependencies and delivery constraints (including privacy and ethics) Prepare and oversee design documentation, configurations and operating procedures Deliver solutions that meet IRAP and penetration testing requirements Present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Mentor and support colleagues to uplift capability across the program Engage internal and external stakeholders, influencing and negotiating at senior levels Adapt delivery approaches to align with evolving technologies and organisational needs Required Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) ICT programs Strong background in complex ICT or digital transformation projects with diverse stakeholder groups Understanding of government AI use cases, emerging technologies, and responsible AI policies Ability to work hands‑on across design, development, integration and operationalisation Desired Skills and Experience Successfully delivering Whole of Australian Government ICT programs and services Demonstrated experience in delivering complex ICT or digital transformation projects involving a wide range of stakeholder groups Understanding of and experience with technologies/solutions, government use cases, and policies including the responsible use of AI Experience in delivering systems accredited through the Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) processes and engaged in Penetration Testing exercises Technical qualifications to support the role duties will be advantageous How to Apply If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please click 'APPLY'.
