Delivery Manager

Delivery Manager Profectus Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia We are seeking two (2) Technical Delivery Managers who are self‑motivated and experienced to drive the multiple technical components of a critical Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) program, GovAI, with the objective of increasing the adoption of AI across Australian Government. A number of technical work streams have been identified. The ideal candidate/s will engage with these initiatives, oversee end‑to‑end delivery, and take a hands‑on role where their expertise aligns. They will work closely with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to shape and implement technology systems and processes, ensuring successful initiative outcomes. They will be supported by a number of technical and non‑technical team members and, where required, will engage specialists to deliver aspects of their initiatives. Ideal candidate will be instrumental in: Shaping the technical direction of a number of AI focused technology initiatives Actively engaging hands‑on to plan and execute project deliverables Engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, both technical and business focused The ideal candidate must possess proven skills and demonstrated experience in the following areas: Successfully delivering Whole of Australian Government ICT programs and services Demonstrated experience in delivering complex ICT or digital transformation projects involving a wide range of stakeholder groups Understanding of and experience with regards to technologies/solutions, government use‑cases, and policies including the responsible use of AI Experience in delivering systems which have been accredited through the Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) processes and engaged in penetration testing exercises Technical qualifications to support the role duties will be advantageous Key duties and responsibilities Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work with subject matter experts to align technical capability against business outcomes Apply and correlate aspects of the policies and guidelines to translate them into secure, reliable solutions Engage with conceptual initiatives and work with non‑technical stakeholders to determine value propositions and requirements for technology‑based service offerings Provide technical advice on the integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud, automation) into existing systems and services Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints, including those related to data privacy and ethical use of technology Present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences Manage and perform aspects of design, development, implementation and ongoing operation of technical solutions Mentor, train and support colleagues to help understand and communicate the intent and benefits of the delivery aspects better Develop and manage the delivery of design documentation, configurations and procedures in‑line with the consultations with key stakeholders Work with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise work and manage expectations, including the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels Adapt technical advice and delivery approaches in response to shifting technology landscapes Perform a range of technical roles to progress the development of technology‑based solutions, and engage specialist resources where required Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Profectus by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
