Customer Service Officer – Aquatics Centres Location: Merrylands, New South Wales About The Opportunity Council’s Assets, Capital and Facilities unit sits within the City Services directorate and focuses on the management of the Cumberland LGA. Cumberland City Council owns and operates four Aquatic Centres and two Fitness facilities across the LGA which provide recreational services to our community. In contributing to the overarching vision, the Customer Service Officer – Aquatic Centre will deliver a quality customer experience and act as a first point of contact for all swim centre related enquiries and bookings. Responsibilities Deliver high quality customer service at the aquatic centres. Handle enquiries and complaints, manage bookings, use leisure management software, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional service management. Qualifications Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current First Aid Certificate Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment Excellent communication & customer service skills Strong time management and organisational ability Experience dealing with customer enquiries and complaints Experience using leisure management software Experience in database management and report writing Availability Casual positions. Located at Council's Swim Centres, with occasional travel required across Council worksites. Salary information The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award. Grade 4 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $31.34 to $38.39 per hour (plus casual loading), plus 12% superannuation. Weekend penalty rates apply in accordance with the Local Government Award. The commencing salary will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience.
