ServiceNow ITOM Senior Technical Consultant We are looking for a Sydney-based talent with strong ServiceNow ITOM expertise to join xAmplify’s ServiceNow Capability and work with a diverse team on interesting projects. You’ll represent xAmplify to clients during requirements gathering and design phases, and help structure the delivery of the solution with a focus on ITOM. There will be ServiceNow configuration, testing, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, solution design work, test planning, deployment and hyper care activities. OUR ROLE As our specialist ITOM Senior Technical Consultant, you’ll work across different parts of the software development life cycle to drive the best possible outcome for our customers. You’ll participate in requirements gathering, design phases, and help structure delivery to the client with emphasis on ITOM. LOCATION: For this role, we are looking for a great Sydney-based talent; if you’re based across the Australian East Coast and have the required skills, let’s connect. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE At least 3 years of ServiceNow administration and development experience, with a minimum of 2-3 demonstrated examples of where you have delivered ITOM implementations in a large organisation. Hands-on delivery exposure with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery (MID Servers, credentials, schedules, probes/sensors), ITOM Service Mapping (pattern design, mapping application services, troubleshooting mapping gaps) and CSDM & CMDB (Structuring CI classes, relationships, and reconciliation rules). As this is a senior role, a ServiceNow CSA is mandatory, with additional key certifications including CIS certifications or CAD. Experience defining ServiceNow requirements, building solution design documentation, or running functional workshops in an agile environment. Strong development experience in JavaScript for ServiceNow customisations including patterns, probes and scripts. Experience with APIs and integrations including REST/SOAP API, data transformation and import set mapping is a bonus. First project may be in a diverse client environment requiring a good grasp of infrastructure, networks, and cloud (AWS/Azure), with the ability to partner with infrastructure, application and security teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of organisation and time management, and ability to work proactively and autonomously in a deadline-driven environment.
