What you’ll be doing As a Key Account Manager at Tru, you will: Champion Client Relationships Build strong, multi-level relationships with Platinum & Tier 1 clients Act as the primary point of contact for all service and solution needs Maintain proactive, daily contact with key stakeholders, delivering clarity, confidence and exceptional service Lead customer meetings, on‑site visits and ongoing engagement Manage client onboarding and ensure a seamless service experience Drive Service Delivery Excellence Collaborate with internal teams across Customer Service, Sales, Accounts and Operations Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded across every touchpoint Manage systems setup, compatibility and documentation Provide timely communication, meeting notes and follow‑up actions Deliver root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Lead Contract & Renewal Management Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms that support commercial success Work with senior leaders on tender submissions and strategic proposals Develop pricing proposals and safeguard margin across key accounts Protect & Grow Accounts Analyse data to identify risks, opportunities and service improvements Monitor performance (DIFOT, financials, trading patterns) and present insights Identify upsell and solution expansion opportunities within existing accounts Ensure 100% retention of Platinum & Tier 1 clients What you bring 3–5+ years’ experience in Account Management, Key Accounts or Client Relations (freight/logistics experience highly regarded) Proven success in managing large, multi-level client relationships Strong understanding of domestic transport, warehousing or logistics Confidence working with CRM systems and logistics platforms (MachShip and Hubspot experience highly regarded) Strong data analysis skills, including report development and performance reviews A self‑starter with resilience, initiative and a genuine client‑first mindset Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship skills Ability to take ownership, think commercially and follow through Qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or Account Management are desirable.
