Child and Family Health Nurse/Midwife New Directions

What you’ll be doing South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well. The Registered Nurse will provide a comprehensive Child and Family Health Nursing service with home visits, clinic visits and group work to Aboriginal families with children aged 0-5 years, within the context of current policies and best practice. The Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the broader multi‑disciplinary team. This will involve undertaking physical, emotional and psychological assessments to identify family strengths and vulnerabilities and enable early identification and interventions. There may be a requirement to work in universal and/or targeted Child and Family Health Nursing services.
