The Sydney office of our property practice consists of 6 partners and over 25 staff members and we are currently seeking a Senior Conveyancing Paralegal to work as part of our residential property team, which is headed by Vanya Lozzi, Partner, and Elly Ashley, Partner. Responsibilities Preparing and issuing sales contracts, negotiating amendments and effecting exchange Preparing and issuing periodic reports to our client Actioning and filing high volumes of email communication Settling sales using PEXA or an equivalent electronic system Preparing and registering residential tenancy agreements Varying residential tenancy agreements on exercise of an option to renew Managing off the plan development projects Your Skills and Experience Be able to work effectively in a team and being a dependable team member An ability and willingness to consistently follow procedures Be comfortable with a high volume workload Be confident running your own conveyancing files with limited supervision Be familiar with PEXA Understand conveyancing procedures and lease registration procedures in NSW Take a professional approach in everything you do While not essential, an understanding of conveyancing in QLD and familiarity with the use of option deeds and display village deeds would be desirable.
