And as we grow and deliver that pipeline of projects in the coming years, we will continue to serve our communities and deliver the power that Queensland needs.About the roleThis is a full time opportunity located in Brisbane CBD, with occasional travel required as it also supports Meandu Mine (near Kingaroy).The Senior Finance Business Partner collaborates closely with senior operational leaders and diverse business units, providing financial insights, conducting analyses, and offering recommendations to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. The focus is on strategically guiding the financial direction of the assigned portfolio, acting as a catalyst for well-informed decision-making, and ensuring that financial strategies align with the unique requirements of each division.Key activities include:Lead and engage with divisional teams to formulate comprehensive financial plans, covering budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.Execute month-end accounting and reporting processes, update and oversee key operational drivers, ensuring accurate reconciliation.Take the lead in consistently monitoring financial performance throughout the month, proactively identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth.Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to Senior Management.
