And as we grow and deliver that pipeline of projects in the coming years, we will continue to serve our communities and deliver the power that Queensland needs.About the roleThis is a full time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.The G&FE division is responsible for providing considered strategic advice to the Stanwell Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board on a regular basis and as such high levels of trust must be cultivated to maintain and enhance credibility and secure a mandate within the business to deliver initiatives.The Portfolio Advisor provides specialist services for effective project portfolio analysis, reporting and generating insights to enable the business to make right decisions. This role will focus on the continual development and improvement of the portfolio and reporting tools and systems aligned to the project management framework, providing direction, guidance, and training throughout G&FE.Key activities include:Project/Portfolio Advice - provide specialist advice and direction to project managers/directors, sponsors and other key stakeholders on project and the overall portfolio to gain maximum benefits on project and program controls and assist in decision-making related to project selection, prioritisation, and resource allocation.Project Portfolio – track and monitor the progress of the portfolio and individual projects, identifying potential issues or deviations from plans. Ensure that projects within the portfolio are aligned with the organisation's strategic goals and objectives.Support Delivery - drive the use and ongoing development of tools, systems, and processes to support the delivery of project pipeline, portfolio and reporting requirements.Monthly Reporting – develop and manage monthly reporting for the portfolios for presentation to sponsors and project governance committees ensuring accuracy and quality of information.Reporting Process - ensure a consistent and effective project / portfolio reporting process is applied for the division, leveraging any corporate processes, whilst monitoring progress and issues.About youExperience in project, program or portfolio-based roles, with specific experience in reporting and portfolio analysis / management.Experience operating in a Project or Portfolio Management Office environment with a large portfolio of Major Projects.Excellent working knowledge of project management tools, technology, and processes (e.g. Microsoft Suite, Primavera, Enterprise Systems).Experience in portfolio wide program or works management, optimisation, and reporting.Experience in preparing budgets, forecasting and variance analysis for individual projects and project portfolio plans.Benefits:12.75% employer contribution to superannuationAccess to Bright Spark – our rewards, recognition and discounts platformWeekly payContributions for IP/TPD insurance unitsFlexible work arrangementsCentrally located in Brisbane CBDIncentive schemeHealth and wellbeing initiatives (e.g. skin checks, flu vaccines)Access to learning and development on and off the jobExceptional safety culturePlus, a whole lot moreWhat’s next?To submit your application, please apply online with your CV.Applications close:
