People and Talent Coordinator

Hey there, recruitment rockstar Ready to jump into a dynamic role with a fast-growing, Indigenous-owned environmental consultancy? We’re scaling up fast, and we need a People & Talent Coordinator who is a pro at finding top talent and building a workplace where people thrive. Our team works hard to protect Australia’s ecosystems, but we also know how to have fun – think team eco‑challenges, Friday catchups, and a vibe that’s professional yet relaxed. What you’ll do Drive recruitment: take briefs, craft compelling adverts, post on platforms, and headhunt top talent. Shortlist, pre‑screen, book interviews, conduct reference checks, and manage offers. Create seamless onboarding experiences, making new team members feel welcomed and ready to shine. Think creatively to attract diverse, high‑quality candidates in a competitive market. Support the People & Performance Manager with employee relations, team events (think trivia nights or eco‑retreats), employee surveys, and P&C projects. Be a trusted partner to stakeholders, delivering recruitment solutions that align with our business goals. Who you are A recruitment gun with a passion for connecting people to purpose‑driven roles. A proactive, organised multitasker who thrives in a busy, growth‑focused environment. A natural at building relationships, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Someone who balances professionalism with a fun, down‑to‑earth approach. What you bring 5+ years in recruitment, maybe with agency experience and a desire to go in‑house. Proven skills in writing job adverts, headhunting, and managing end‑to‑end recruitment. Experience working with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver results. Familiarity with onboarding processes and making new hires feel valued. Some exposure to HR tasks like employee relations or engagement initiatives is a bonus.
