What you'll be doing The role will cover the Aboriginal community on the Central Coast of NSW, covering the Wyong & Gosford areas. The focus is to support vulnerable Aboriginal children, young people and families within their cultural context; fostering connection to culture, social & emotional wellbeing; providing early childhood intervention, providing a holistic Health Care approach to family with cultural safety. The key programs include the Child & Family Wellbeing Programs which do intake, assessment, referral, parenting support, long‑term case management / coordination. You will work towards improving health outcomes and wellbeing of Aboriginal families on the Central Coast with children by providing culturally sensitive care navigation for the family. You will provide care via telephone, telehealth where available, home visits and hospital and/or community settings. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 4.30pm, no weekendsFor more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You You have experience with Aboriginal health / family wellbeing services, especially any culturally based work. You have supervisory or leadership roles especially in clinical contexts. You have demonstrated understanding of trauma, social emotional wellbeing, child development, parenting support. You have skills in engaging in community and embedding culture in service delivery.
