Role Title: Ngaliya Ngara Aboriginal Family Care Navigator Location: Central Coast Local Health District, NSW Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 30 June 2028 Position Classification: Aboriginal Health Worker Remuneration: $ – $ per week Hours per Week: 38 (Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm; no weekends) Requisition ID: REQ Application Close: Thursday 4 December 2025 at 11:59pm What you’ll be doing Provide culturally safe care navigation for Aboriginal children, young people and families within the Wyong & Gosford areas. Support vulnerable Aboriginal families through early childhood intervention and a holistic health‑care approach. Intake, assess, refer and provide parenting support as part of the Child & Family Wellbeing Programs. Work across telehealth, telephone, home visits and community settings to improve health outcomes. Operate Monday to Friday 8:00‑4:30pm, with no weekend work. About you Experience with Aboriginal health/family wellbeing services, especially culturally based work. Demonstrated supervision or leadership in a clinical context. Knowledge of trauma, social–emotional wellbeing, child development and parenting support.
