Statewide Apprenticeships is an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has been servicing the employment and training needs of South Australian apprentices and trainees, as well as businesses and industries, for over 30 years. Apprenticeship Certificate 3 in Engineering - Fabrication (MEM 30305) Statewide Apprenticeships are seeking an apprentice boiler maker/welder working on truck trays/trailers/tanks in Adelaide’s north. The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. The position will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised. We are looking for someone who has a desire and passion to work in the industry and has an understanding of what an apprenticeship in Boiler making is about. You will also need the right aptitude and have a strong desire to learn. Duties may include Perform engineering measurements Cutting, grinding Repair/replace/modify fabrications Use of power tools and hand tools About you Have a strong passion for welding Be committed to undertaking a 48 month apprenticeship Possess a driver’s licence Be physically fit Willing to learn & work in an active & changing environment Have a strong work ethic & takes pride in quality workmanship Application process Please send your resume and cover letter to *******@sgt.asn.au outlining your interest and suitability to the position.
