And so much more What you’ll do: Review, process, and pay vendor invoices within required timeframes, ensuring compliance with auditing, taxation, payment terms, GST and ABN legislation, and WaterNSW policy requirements. Keep accurate financial records, support month‑end reporting, and assist with finance system updates, including user testing when needed. Effectively manage complex billing, credit enquiries, and complaints by resolving issues promptly and driving continuous improvement. Maintain clear, professional communication with employees and suppliers regarding accounts payable and expense queries, and respond quickly to all correspondence via phone, mail, or email. Oversee billing operations by managing customer contracts and service agreements and lead monthly revenue reconciliation and reporting for managers. Ability to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines and competing priorities due to high volume environment whilst ensuring accuracy, attention to detail and compliance. Complexity of operating within the rules & requirements of a regulated environment. What we are looking for: Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting or equivalent experience in a similar role. Prior experience in an Accounts Payable &/or Accounts Receivable / Billing role. Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Dynamics 365 and SAP Concur. Knowledge of MS Office products & demonstrated understanding of GST and tax legislation.
