Initial 7 months contract with extension beyond that for the right candidate Attractive daily pay rate of $1000 / day + super 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week Hybrid work arrangement (WFH + Parramatta) PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE : This is a hands‑on role within a large, collaborative team, working alongside other Salesforce Developers to re-architect the Salesforce platform. You’ll bring end‑to‑end delivery experience, strong solution design and documentation skills, and play a key role in supporting key release cycles while contributing to a positive, team‑oriented culture that values collaboration. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : Creating custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications. Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment. Supporting, maintaining and improving the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality. Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs. Collaborating with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system. Ensuring compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce. Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce and other technologies. Create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or a related field. 7-10 years of demonstrable experience in Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Education Cloud, Salesforce service cloud and Business Rules Engine. 7-10 years of Hands‑on experience Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies. Experience in Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. PREFERRED SKILLS : Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder. Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
