Our team fosters strong community connections and is driven by values of empathy, integrity, and empowerment. Summary: We are currently seeking a well organised person as a Rostering Coordinator. The Rostering Coordinator is responsible for managing staff rostering, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication with participants, families, and staff. The position is primarily on-site. A key requirement of this position is the ability to communicate clearly, consistently and respectfully with people from all walks of life, including but not limited to our Participants, Families and Staff. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to build trust, resolve issues and maintain positive relationships across diverse backgrounds. A background in disability or community services would be preferable as this would be a good foundation to understand the complexities of our industry. Responsibilities: Manage and update staff rosters for disability support services using Shift Care or similar software. Ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed and that staffing levels are in compliance with company policies and procedures. Work closely with Office Team to identify staffing needs and adjust schedules as necessary. Monitor employee attendance and ensure that all absences are properly recorded and accounted for. Communicate with employees regarding their schedules and any changes that may occur. Maintain accurate records of employee schedules, attendance and compliance with shift progress notes. Generate reports and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure that all scheduling activities are in compliance with The SCHADS Award laws and regulations. Action roster change requests and communicate updates to staff and participants. Monitor and adjust rosters for absenteeism, shift swaps, and emergency coverage. Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls, emails, and in-person visitors. Qualifications: Experience and knowledge in the Disability Industry. Proven experience in scheduling and rostering in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software. Desirable: Knowledge of relevant SCHADS Award and regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
