Rostering Coordinator

YouCare Disability Services is seeking a Rostering Coordinator to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing the complex scheduling and rostering of our disability support workers to ensure our clients receive the high-quality, consistent care they deserve. With a focus on optimising workforce utilisation, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of our essential disability services. What you'll be doing Develop and maintain efficient rostering systems and processes to coordinate the schedules of our disability support workers Liaise with clients, support workers and other stakeholders to understand and accommodate service delivery needs Analyse workforce data to identify opportunities for improved rostering and optimised utilisation Communicate roster changes and adjustments to support workers and clients in a timely manner Maintain detailed records and reporting on rostering activities Collaborate with the operations team to enhance rostering capabilities and processes Provide coaching and guidance to support workers on rostering and scheduling matters What we're looking for Proven experience in a rostering or scheduling coordination role, ideally within the community services or disability support sector Minimum of 1–2 years of rostering or scheduling coordination experience required Strong understanding of workforce management principles and best practices Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in using rostering and workforce management software Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Compassionate approach to supporting clients and workers Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities Australian work rights are required for this position What we offer At YouCare Disability Services, we are committed to supporting our employees and nurturing their professional growth.
