At MIFWA, we’ve spent 30+ years walking alongside people with lived and living experience of mental health challenges. Now, we’re expanding our impact, blending our strong peer‑led foundations with dedicated clinical services that deliver truly holistic support. As our first Psychologist , you’ll pioneer this exciting new direction, delivering evidence‑based therapy while co‑designing a service that will grow to offer diverse pathways, leadership opportunities, and innovative models of care. What’s on Offer $135,000–$155,000 (pro rata) + Super + NFP salary packaging (up to $15,900 tax‑free) Flexible work: base yourself in Midland with the option to deliver sessions via telehealth Full‑time or part‑time – your balance matters 12‑month contract with genuine potential to permanency Paid AHPRA registration, funded external supervision & PD A supportive, values‑driven team culture that celebrates authenticity and collaboration Your Role Deliver psychological assessment and therapy supporting recovery, wellbeing, and daily functioning Work across anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment concerns using evidence‑based approaches Collaborate with peer workers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, person‑centred support Contribute to co‑design, evaluation, and service development, your voice will shape how psychology evolves within MIFWA About You You’re an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist who’s ready to do meaningful work, not just more of the same. You bring: AHPRA registration and eligibility for a Medicare provider number 3+ years’ experience delivering psychological services Strong understanding of trauma‑informed and recovery‑oriented practice Excellent communication and report‑writing skills A spirit of curiosity and collaboration, eager to build something new, not just join something existing Why MIFWA We’re not a traditional mental health service, we’re a community movement built on hope, humanity, and shared experience.
