Principal Pavement Engineer

Overview The role: We are currently seeking a talented and industry recognised Principal Pavement Engineer that will work in our Transport Group to deliver major transport infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. This senior role also focuses on mentoring and managing a team of developing engineers in our national pavements team. As a national role, the position may be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. Responsibilities Deliver major road & highway projects across our portfolio. Mentor and manage a national team of developing engineers. Coordinate, design and deliver pavement projects within multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Prepare and review technical reports. Qualifications Degree qualified – Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar). Minimum 15 years of technical experience in planning, concept and detailed pavement engineering design. Knowledge of Australian pavement design standards and practices. Experience in a similar senior role at an engineering design consultancy. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with public and private sector clients. Sound project management skills covering administrative, commercial and technical aspects. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
