This Social Worker position provides client‑centred, family‑focused and evidence‑based clinical services for Aboriginal children up to the age of 12 years with emotional, behavioural and/or emerging mental health concerns in the context of their family life. Additionally, as the successful candidate you will have a role in facilitating relationships between Aboriginal patients and Health professionals, advocating for the needs of Aboriginal families by educating and advising health professionals on the delivery of culturally appropriate healthcare. You will work within a large multi‑disciplinary team, providing assessment, intervention, and support services for children and their families whilst also collaborating with preschools, schools, and other community services. The role will require providing services with an emphasis on attachment, parent‑child relationship and parenting capacity to meet the emotional needs of their child.
