We are seeking an energetic and organised Sports Coordinator. About the College Brigidine College is a vibrant independent Catholic girls' school located on Sydney's North Shore. About the Role Working closely with the Head of Sport and Director of Cocurricular, the Sports Coordinator helps to plan, administer and deliver the school’s sports program, including weekly training, interschool fixtures, carnivals and representative pathways. The position combines administration, coordination and some coaching, and requires regular attendance at after‑school training sessions and Saturday sport during term time. Key Responsibilities Coordinate specific sports and provide administrative support for the sports program Manage sporting events, carnivals, training sessions, and Saturday interschool fixtures (IGSA competition) Oversee database management, registrations, communications, and reporting Represent the College at sporting fixtures, carnivals and events Support coach development, accreditation and performance management Coach College sport teams as appropriate Ensure compliance with risk management and WHS procedures About You High level general sports knowledge and experience in coaching, managing or coordinating sport Excellent administration, organisational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and Brigidine tradition of the College Flexibility to work early mornings, after school and weekends on a weekly basis Professional certification in sport administration and/or coaching Experience in sports administration within a school setting Qualifications in fitness, strength and conditioning training Experience and expertise in Netball, Basketball, Touch Football, Tennis, Strength & Conditioning, and Rugby This is a full-time position working 42 weeks per year plus 4 weeks annual leave, with salary averaged across 52 weeks. The position includes term time and some non‑term time work, with all annual leave taken during vacation periods. Hours may vary term to term to meet program needs, determined in consultation with the Head of Sport.
