About the Role We’re looking for a Pipelines Mechanical Supervisor to join our Asset East team in Condabri. This role is responsible for supporting the Condabri Facilities and Pipelines Superintendents in the coordination and delivery of operations and maintenance of the steel gas pipeline network across all APLNG assets, to ensure the asset is maintained safely, reliably and compliantly while maintaining integrity to maximise the design life and meet current and future gas transport and supply requirements. Visual demonstrated HSE leadership is an essential element of this role. Responsibilities Site Safety Manager – Accountable for ensuring that contractors, visitors and employees are safe and that we comply with all necessary regulatory and organisational processes, procedures and regulations. Provide input, guidance and expertise to assist with the production of schedules for maintenance of the APLNG pipeline assets, stations, facilities and the ROW. Coordinate, plan and execute assigned maintenance and pipeline survey activities (right‑of‑way patrols, electrical & instrumentation maintenance, pigging activities, commissioning, hazardous area inspections, CP surveys, coating repairs), managing field staff and allocating work to coordinate and prioritise work schedules and forward work programs. Respond to breakdown and corrective work. Administer record‑keeping processes to obtain accurate accounting of costs and coding, and assist with forward budgeting and planning. Assist with community relations and monitor third‑party activity along the pipeline route. Liaise with the BCCR and communicate daily operations requirements to Pipeline field operations. Identify and manage risk in pipeline operations and maintenance. Liaise with Gas Processing Facilities, Water Treatment Facilities and Downstream (Curtis Island) operations managers to ensure overall operations strategy is an integrated approach. Assist HSE with relevant risk reviews. Qualifications Strong organisational skills and ability to deal with a variety of projects and issues concurrently. Demonstrated HSE Leadership.
