Accounts Payable for expanding Industry Leader Queensland’s largest independent hotel group is on the lookout for a superstar Accounts Payable legend to join our growing team in Townsville If you're organised, love ticking things off your to-do list, and get satisfaction from a balanced ledger – keep reading. We’re after someone with a can-do attitude , great communication skills , and a sharp eye for detail . You'll be based in our Townsville Support Office, where there's always something happening and no two days are quite the same. Key Responsibilities Include: Coding of Invoices in our AP software - Lightyear, ensuring they are allocated to the correct entity and cost codes Ensuring invoices are adequately signed off by team members Transfer of invoices across to Xero Accounting System Support Bookkeepers and operational staff with query resolution Key Attributes you will ideally possess: Accounts payable or bookkeeping experience; Accommodation and Hospitality industry experience would be highly regarded but is not essential Previous experience with AP automation / OCR tools will be beneficial Highly organised and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently while still having the support of a team environment Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve Proficient knowledge of Word and Excel Business Central and Exflow experience highly regarded but not essential This is a full-time position with an immediate start available.
