Despatch worker duties include picking & preparing stock, implementing quality control, carefully & efficiently packing orders. General nursery duties may be required at times such as potting, cleaning & weeding. Required: Good literacy skills, an eye for detail and getting things right The ability to work at a fast, consistent pace even without supervision. Applicants need to be physically fit, able to stand, push, pull, lift, bend and carry without any issues. Prior experience in a despatch role, nursery work, wholesale warehouse or process type work and an interest in horticulture will be well regarded. * Applicants must be available 7.00 am to 3.30 pm Mon-Fri. Earlier starts may be required during the busy spring-summer season. Reliability in attendance is a must-have.
