Exciting opportunity at one of Australia's most trusted and experienced Insurance Building and Repair providers. Our client has a long established relationship with Australia's largest insurance companies and loss adjusters and prides themselves on fast and reliable repairs for those affected by natural disasters and minor losses. We are currently looking for an experienced estimator to join the team. This role will be to ensure that all estimates are completed in a timely and competitive manner across all regions in South East Queensland ranging from the Gold Coast to Gympie. Benefits and perks Fully maintained company vehicle, Mobile phone and computer Company uniform Access to EAP Programs Skills training and ongoing career progression The ideal applicant will display the following attributes Insurance industry experience Strong attention to detail Prime software skills preferred Ability to work will in a team environment 2 years' experience in a similar role Clear understanding of Australian building codes Your responsibilities will include Produce a detailed scope of works and estimated costs associated Control and manage a portfolio of multiple projects Produce assessment reports and review external contractor reports to assure all information is accurate Coordinate site meetings with subcontractor trades to obtain costs Complete estimates in a timely manner to ensure KPIs are met Develop relationships with clients to secure ongoing opportunities If this sounds like you, give Lucy a call on or email to discuss confidentially further the position or apply.
