About The Role
Due to a promotion within the team, we are looking for a
Payroll Officer
to join the team.
You Will Be Responsible For
End to end weekly payroll processingEfficient processing of all payroll transactionsCollecting data/time sheets, ensuring they have been approved and exceptions verified. Analyse payroll output to confirm authenticityUpdating and maintaining employee records, including leave, training, enterprise agreements and other relevant documentationAbility to interpret awards, NES, and other relevant employment conditionsAdministration of workers compensation payments and superannuationCalculate termination pays, pay adjustments, and leave accrualsResolving payroll queries and ensure payroll complianceAdministration of payroll transactions in both manual and automated payroll accounting systemsProcess invoices to customers based upon payroll information
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business at all levels. You will be career focused with the drive to take on further opportunities and challenges as they rise.
You Will Also Have
Preferably have 2+ years experience as a payroll officerAbility to understand and interpret awardsAn aptitude for working with bulk dataAccuracy and a keen eye for detail which your referees will attest toDemonstrated proven experience operating in 1500+ employee payrollAbility to work efficiently either in a team environment or individually and meet agreed daily KPIsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh competence with Microsoft Office and payroll systems
