Transport Allocator Linfox, West Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. What does the job look like? Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is actively seeking an experienced Transport Allocator to join our team based in West Melbourne, ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner. With your exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning, and dispatching deliveries. This role is on Night shift working Monday to Friday from 8pm - 4am, with any overtime as required. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and compliance. Maintain regular contact with our customer to keep them updated and well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact them. Monitor service schedules for fleet & complete accurate handovers for PM shift team each day. Complete Yard checks and meet Safety KPI's. Are you the one? Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high‑pressure environment. Highly proficient computer skills and ability to pick things up quickly.
