Transport Allocator – Linfox Laverton North, Victoria, Australia Join Linfox to apply for the Transport Allocator role. This full‑time permanent position works Monday through Friday, 8am‑4pm. The role is part of our Intermodal team based in Laverton North and involves allocating, route planning, and dispatching deliveries to meet deadlines. Key responsibilities Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders, giving clear instructions and building positive relationships. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and compliance. Maintain regular contact with customers to keep them updated on scheduled deliveries or changes that will affect them. Monitor service schedules for fleet and complete accurate handovers for the AM shift team each day. Complete yard checks and meet safety KPIs. Qualifications Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers and customers. Experience in similar positions within the logistics/transport/rail industry is highly regarded. Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area will be highly regarded. Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high‑pressure environment. Highly proficient computer skills and the ability to learn quickly.
