Learning Designer – QUT Join QUT as a Learning Designer to support our Learning and Teaching Unit with curriculum development and delivery. Responsibilities Contribute to strategic faculty priorities including delivery of high‑quality curriculum aligned with QUT’s Real World Learning Vision and Quality Standards for Learning and Teaching. Design, develop and deliver transformative curriculum for face‑to‑face, blended and online learning environments using innovative pedagogical theory and emerging technologies. Plan, design and deliver academic capability development activities and resources to improve student learning experiences at an institutional level. Select, apply and evaluate technologies for teaching, learning and assessment across a variety of contexts. Implement transformational institutional policies and strategies for innovation in higher education delivery. Manage competing deadlines and multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Partner, influence learning and teaching practices and work effectively as part of a team. Qualifications Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline plus extensive experience. Demonstrated experience in evidence‑based, whole‑of‑course learning design methodology. Proven ability to plan, design and deliver academic capability development activities. Experience selecting, applying and evaluating teaching technology in multiple contexts. Experience implementing institutional policies or strategies for innovation in higher education. Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple tasks. Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Location & Term Location: Gardens Point – hybrid option available. Term: Ongoing, part‑time (29 hours per week). Remuneration: $135,483 to $153,562 pa (full‑time equivalent) inclusive of superannuation and recreation leave loading.
