WIRTGEN AUSTRALIA seeks a Field Service Technician to join our Queensland Service team. This position will work across all Wirtgen Group brands with the role requiring flexibility with the ability to work autonomously. A self‑motivated and driven individual would be highly regarded. This role is based at our premises in Stapylton, Queensland. Key Responsibilities Servicing, maintenance, and repair of Wirtgen Group equipment; Preparation of new machine build requirements; Commissioning/training of Wirtgen Group machinery; Diagnose machine issues or customer complaints and assist in finding solutions; Conduct machine inspections; Provide a professional customer service and care attitude at all times; Assist in the training of Apprentices and other staff as required; Qualifications and Experience Australian/New Zealand recognised trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical); Proven experience within a Service Technician/Light Vehicle Mechanic role for minimum 2 years; Unencumbered Drivers License; Basic computer skills; Must be able to communicate well with co‑workers and customers; Must be able to work under pressure; High attention to detail; Willing to learn and take direction. The ideal candidate will also need to complete and pass a pre‑employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and obtain a police clearance.
