The Role We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Haulage Operator to join our team for an immediate start. Our yard is in Forrestdale, but you will be required to travel both locally and regional. This role will involve driving our Volvo FH16 with a quad drake float and tri axle dolly to safely transport heavy duty plant equipment and engage with our clients on-site whilst doing so. You will also be required toConduct pre-operational checks and maintain the roadworthiness of the vehicle in your care &maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, loads and any incident. You will need toAdhere to all relevant regulations, safety protocols and company policies to protect the wellbeing of yourself and others. Being that this is a newly created role, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver to join a dynamic and growing company, you will play a key role in the company’s efficient road transport operations. Required Skills & Experience MC driver's license with a clean driving record 5 + years’ experience Proven ability in safe loading practices and applying load restraints Experience with oversize and over-mass loads A strong commitment to safety Must be an Australian citizen Must be able to complete a medical Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible hours as required, this includes both local and regional trips Current police clearance What we offer Full time position Uniforms provided Weekly pay Working in a highly supportive and team-oriented company with a strong commitment to ongoing training and maintaining a zero-harm environment for all our employees, visitors, and clients.
