Summary Support teachers in delivering powerful strategies that supercharge student learning and success in every subject Location: Stella Maris - Maroochydore Start date: Commencing January, 2026 Work hours: 10 underlying and permanent hours per week with a variation to increase to 25 hours for 2026 Salary: School Officer Level 3 - $34.17/hour + super (School Salary Scale) Status: Term Time | Continuing Variation of hours to be negotiated on a yearly basis Ad close date: 23 November, 2025 Contact: Jake Knowles | *************@bne.catholic.edu.au About the opportunity In this position you will be responsible for: Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programmes for students including the use of technology and learning support activities Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence‑based intervention strategies Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services Documenting observation notes, intervention programmes and assisting in the collation and preparation of classroom materials. About you To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Strong skills in planning, preparing and delivering effective teaching programmes Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence‑based interventions Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programmes and preparing classroom materials Certificate III in Education Support For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
