About The Opportunity As our permanent, full-time Culture and Capability Support Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Culture and Capability team. You will be the organisational wizard who ensures that training events run like clockwork and that all Culture and Capability-related matters are well-documented. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level administrative support to the Culture and Capability team, ensuring training events run smoothly and all matters are well-documented. Be the organisational wizard who manages the Culture and Capability email inbox, responding to enquiries and action requests. Collaborate with the team to deliver the corporate training plan and manage training statistics, attendance records and costs. Manage relationships with external training providers and suppliers. Coordinate the Work Experience Program, including placements and guidance for careers advisors. Process invoices in accordance with procurement guidelines. Carry out any other duties as required. You’re the all-around superstar of the team Essential Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated relevant experience Experience using computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel) Experience administering Learning Management System functions such as recording training and setting up events Ability to work within a small, dynamic, fast‑paced team environment Strong organisational and prioritisation skills Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service Well‑developed communication and negotiation skills Solid understanding of Council’s roles and functions for the community Ability to facilitate training events such as Apprentice and Trainee Induction and Apprentice Development Day Availability to work flexible working hours Current class C driver’s licence Desirable Qualifications Certificate III in Business Administration and/or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Remuneration and Benefits Entry level for this position starts at $1,362.15 per week 35‑hour working week Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs Our Commitment to Safety Blacktown City Council is committed to safety.
