The role As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll lead the solution architecture and technical delivery of data projects, leveraging Microsoft Azure Data Services. You’ll work closely with our Data Warehouse, Analytics, and Platform teams, as well as the Project Management Office, to ensure successful end-to-end delivery. What you will be responsible for: This role serves as the lead for data projects, responsible for designing and delivering solutions that meet both new and existing client requirements. You’ll lead and contribute to projects across a diverse client base, ranging from mid-market to enterprise environments. Working closely with the Data Architect and key stakeholders, you’ll translate complex data needs into effective, scalable solutions. You’ll partner with teams across Data & AI, Brennan Digital, and the Project Management Office to ensure seamless and successful client delivery. What skills and experience you bring: Strong experience across data engineering with enterprise-level project experience. You will need previous consulting/systems integrator (or similar) experience. Deep and hands-on experience designing, planning and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and data products in complex environments. Expertise in Azure cloud services (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, SQL databases) Designing and implementing data analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI or Tableau. Strong SQL/PySpark and data modelling experience. Note: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
