Job Overview We are looking for a Senior Access Consultant to join our growing team across Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for someone who believes that access is for everyone and sees the opportunities to ‘future‑prove’ our environment, addressing our access needs as we age; whilst also providing accessibility advice which enables access for people with disability now. Our projects are varied, are located across the country and include a range of large commercial buildings, airports, schools, transport infrastructure projects and more. In this role you will have an exciting range of opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and diverse team of professionally skilled individuals. Responsibilities Design and assess documentation/architectural drawings to provide the best solutions for access strategies. Liaise with clients and prepare written reports outlining recommendations for action, based on the principles of universal design, the objects of the DDA and the minimum compliance requirements of the National Construction Code/Building Code of Australia. Collaborate with clients to help their understanding of accessibility and the difference between ‘compliance’ and function, and upgrade their access safety measures. Enjoy site visits to view progression and completion of large projects. Collaborate with all service line teams across a wide range of projects. Work alongside senior managers on larger complex projects. Requirements And Qualifications Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Love to collaborate with colleagues, clients and other teams within projects. Familiar with the construction industry. Familiar with Work Health and Safety requirements for office and onsite. Personal drive, results‑orientated with a friendly, can‑do attitude and a high level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility.
