Northern Districts Basketball Association – Brisbane QLD Casual | 15 hrs/week | $30/hr | Work-from-home + venue visits (Brisbane North / Moreton Bay) Northern Districts Basketball Association (NDBA) is seeking an organised, community-minded Competitions Manager to lead the delivery of our junior and senior domestic basketball competitions. Established in 2024, NDBA provides accessible, inclusive basketball opportunities across Brisbane's northern suburbs and the Moreton Bay region. As Competitions Manager, you will coordinate all aspects of our domestic competitions – fixtures, venue operations, staff and volunteer coordination, and on‑court delivery. You’ll work closely with club representatives, venue coordinators, referees and the NDBA Board to ensure competitions run smoothly while contributing to growth, participation and community engagement. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage and deliver NDBA junior and senior domestic competitions Administer fixtures, staffing rosters, venue requirements and equipment Collaborate with the Domestic Competitions Committee on competition strategy and player retention initiatives Support venue coordinators and maintain strong communication with clubs, referees and stakeholders Provide monthly reports and ensure compliance with NDBA policies, health and safety standards, and child‑safe practices What You’ll Bring Experience in sports competition management (basketball preferred) Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to lead operations, staff and volunteers Proficiency in GameDay/Basketball Connect software (or similar) A proactive, community‑focused mindset and passion for basketball Requirements Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle Apply Now Send your cover letter and CV to *********@ndbasketball.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
