We are currently accepting applications for a level 2 Project Support Officer to join our Canberra team. The ideal candidate will preferably have defence and/or workforce planning or financial management experience The opportunity As aPSO ,your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Preparation of correspondence, briefings, submissions and reports Coordination and scheduling of a range of project activities Working with external stakeholders to minimise impact to the project delivery schedule Analysis of project performance against agreed plans and developing and initiating strategies to achieve project outcomes Analysis of project plans and artefacts to ensure compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks To be successful in the position ofPSO , you will need to bring with you: Previous experience in Project Coordination or Project Support (ideal) Relevant qualifications in Project Management or related discipline The ability to build strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders and effective communication skills A passion for learning and the ability to prioritise and multi-task while working independently or in a team Strong attention to detail along with demonstrated planning and organisational skills Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance. Current security clearance is advantageous.
