Cleared Recruitment are currently partnering with multiple Defence and Federal Government programs in Canberra seeking experienced Project Support Officers to support complex IT, digital and transformation initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for a PSO who understands government delivery environments, thrives in structured programs, and holds an active NV1 (or higher) security clearance. TSPV clearance highly desirable As a Project Support Officer, you will: Provide day-to-day support to Project Managers and Program Managers Maintain project schedules, actions and milestones Coordinate meetings, workshops and stakeholder communications Prepare and update status reports, briefs and dashboards Support financial tracking, invoicing and basic budget reporting Assist with governance documentation and approvals Work within secure Defence or Government environments About You Previous experience in a PSO, Project Coordinator or Project Officer role Exposure to Defence or Federal Government project environments Strong understanding of project governance and reporting Experience supporting IT, digital or transformation projects High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Confidence working with senior stakeholders Security Requirements Active NV1 security clearance or above (mandatory) TSPV clearance highly desirable Australian citizenship required What’s on Offer Contract and permanent opportunities available Competitive Canberra market rates Long-term programs with genuine career progression Hybrid working options (role-dependent) Access to unadvertised Defence and Gov roles At Cleared Recruitment, we provide tailored recruitment solutions to individuals with a background in ICT, Engineering, Cyber and Project Services, who are seeking their next opportunity within Defence Industry, Federal Government, Intelligence and National Security.
