About the Role This is a dynamic position suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working across both drafting and project coordination. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate, high‑quality fabrication drawings , coordinating project information, and supporting workflow from concept through to installation. This role is ideal for someone who loves both the technical side of drafting and the organisational challenges of managing project documentation. Your day could include Preparing client drawings, shop drawings & fabrication documents Completing site measures Updating plans based on client, architect or engineer feedback Monitoring project progress and supporting Project Managers Identifying potential design issues before fabrication Keeping project files organised and up to date No two days will be the same — you’ll be involved in every stage of delivery What You’ll Bring We’re seeking someone who brings a mix of technical skill, initiative, and a proactive approach to teamwork. Essential skills Experience in drafting (architectural metalwork or fabrication preferred) Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS Strong understanding of fabrication processes Excellent communication & organisational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines High attention to detail Understanding of architectural and structural drawing standards Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects & engineers Familiarity with workshop or site environments About Us Berwick Fabrications is a trusted provider of architectural metalwork and fabrication services.
