Site Compliance Officer (OHS+Quality) - Roofing Company Total Roofing and Cladding – Knoxfield VIC Full-Time or Part-Time | Melbourne Join a high-performing roofing company and lead safety & quality across all projects. We are seeking an experienced Site Compliance Officer to oversee both Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and Quality Control (QC) across our roofing operations. This is a combined role designed for a practical, hands‑on person with a strong understanding of roofing and plumbing installation methods . We offer full-time or part-time employment , depending on the successful applicant. About the Role This is a dual-function position responsible for ensuring all roofing works meet strict safety, compliance, and quality standards. You will work across multiple job sites conducting audits, providing guidance to installers, and supporting the business to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality installations. Key Responsibilities Conduct safety inspections and enforce WHS requirements Review and maintain SWMS, safety procedures, and site documentation Run toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training Perform pre-start, mid-roof, and final QC inspections Identify installation defects and ensure corrective actions are completed Provide technical feedback to installers and crews Document site findings with photos, checklists, and reports Support project managers with compliance and quality decisions Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and workmanship What We’re Looking For Essential Background in roofing and/or plumbing (must have trade-level understanding) Strong knowledge of roofing installation methods and standards Good understanding of WHS requirements (Cert IV WHS highly regarded) High attention to detail with a practical, site-focused mindset Confident communicator who can enforce standards professionally Ability to work independently across multiple job sites Valid driver’s licence Desirable Experience in quality assurance, supervision, or OHS roles Internal auditing or safety training experience Why Work With Us?
