This role entails processing outbound orders, preparing freight for transport, and creating daily schedules for drivers.This Role Will Primarily InvolveScan and dispatch freight Stack and wrap pallets along with other warehouse duties where required Create air and road consignment notes (using both a computer and manual system) Lodge and collect freight at air and sea terminals Load and unload delivery vehicles, completing deliveries on occasion Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the customer needs Prepare daily work schedules and notify drivers of road hazards that may impact their travel time Monitor daily driver logs for errors, violations, working hours and equipment availability Process export and import shipments You Will Have2 - 3 years of warehousing experience Customer service experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment A current forklift license or willingness to obtain one A certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution and/or experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding will be highly regarded Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks Strong planning and organisational skills Experience using dispatch software is highly desirable All successful applicants will be required to complete a National Police Check.
