You will play a key role in developing and implementing programs that promote educational participation and success. Your work will directly contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive educational environment for our students. Key Responsibilities Leading strategically: Identify capability requirements and needs to deliver on key priority measures of strategic and operational plans. Professional Development: Plan and coordinate professional development programs and education and training activities for regional and school-based staff and students. Cultural Guidance: Provide cultural advice and guidance to key stakeholders to support case navigation for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students. Support Services: Analyse trends and patterns in data in order to develop and provide support service programs for schools to encourage the educational participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Project Management: Undertake project planning, analysis, integration of project activities, and evaluation of the impact of projects and initiatives. Policy Development: Research, develop, maintain and review operational policies, standards, procedures, and programs to support the unit's function across the department. Qualifications And Skills Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and implications relating to educational outcomes. Proven experience in project management, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Ability to develop and deliver professional development programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
