Located in Sydney CBD - with access to hybrid work arrangements Ongoing full time opportunity (35 hours per week) Salary ranging from $120,859 to $ 133,183pa. Plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role As Senior Data Engineer, you will deliver expert advice and services in the design of data products and data-related services to support the achievement of business outcomes and strategic goals. What you’ll do Reporting to the Principal Data Engineer within the Data and Analytics Unit, you will : Be the technical bridge for data-related services including database tables, data models, ETL pipelines and solution architecture. Develop and support BI platforms and solutions. Find innovative ways of optimising processes to improve efficiency. What we’re looking for This is a hands‑on role which requires technical expertise to support the delivery of data and analytical services. You will have : Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Actuary, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics or equivalent experience. Experience developing data pipeline architecture and maintenance of multiple platforms and data systems, Extensive background in software and data engineering and relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated currency of knowledge in the areas of data products. You are a collaborative team member who enjoys brainstorming, has strong communication skills and is disciplined and organised.
