About the role We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Marketing and Events professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Covering various aspects of our business, you will primarily be responsible for spearheading efforts to drive business opportunities for membership engagement, executing TEG events (Brew‑B‑Q & Taste The Coast), race days and race day activations. Primary responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies for race days, race day activations, and TEG events, including securing new business, clients, and partnerships. Explore new revenue streams and market segments, drive growth, value and retention, and foster both new and existing relationships. Plan, create and publish engaging campaigns across multiple digital platforms, including CANVA, MailChimp, Greenvelope, social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, event listing sites, and stay up to date with emerging platforms. Produce video content such as reels, schedule and track performance for our business. What You’ll Be Doing Membership Manage the membership offering, including growth, inclusions and retention. Events Ownership of TEG events – including Members Cocktail Party, Brew‑B‑Q and Taste the Coast – encompassing concept, marketing, sales and delivery. Raceday activations – present options, booking and management of promotions/activations that add value and customer experience. Marketing – assist the Sales & Marketing Manager with event marketing, primarily focused on digital/social media. Special Projects Identify and implement new business ventures primarily focused on hospitality. What We’re Looking For Extensive (2-3 years) experience in event management within the hospitality or tourism industry. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask. A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making. A passion for the hospitality and entertainment industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Proven experience in using social/digital media to promote events/products.
